Barbara Garland Polikoff

Award-winning American author. Born in 1929, she has been writing stories all her life, although did not get first published until 1987. She has written biographies and a few acclaimed children's books. One of these is horse-themed.

As well as writing, Ms. Polikoff has also worked as a teacher, volunteer educator and editor.
